I enjoyed making my
painted monogram pumpkin so much that I decided to crochet a monogram pumpkin potholder using my Happy Halloween Pumpkin potholder pattern. I drew a letter "S" on graph paper, and inserted it into the pumpkin design.

I also found
this adorable amigurumi pumpkin pattern on Ravelry by Karla Fitch. It was a very well written pattern and easy to follow. It worked up very quickly, and I love how it came out. It's currently the centerpiece on my dining room table, and I hope to make a few more soon.

Not sure if you have comment moderation -- if so, just delete this comment. Blogger is having problems this morning and it keeps telling me service unavailable, but I think it still works?
Anyway, both pumpkins are very cute Doni! I've never quite understood the term amigurumi -- does it just mean something crocheted that is stuffed?
Hi Doni! I've loved crocheting ever since I was a kid, so I was glad to stumble on your blog this morning!! (via Daily Crocheter, catching up on the Patterns of the Day) As I read back on your pretty patterns, I loved reading about Gus and Grace as well! We have a dog and two cats, so it seems we have at least a couple of things in common, and I look forward to visiting again! I'm now a follower! Nice to meet you, and have a great day! ~tina
