This week's Star ornament is the 2nd in my 2012 Ring Ornament Series. The star was made using Caron's Simply Soft yarn and worked by crocheting around a 2" plastic ring. You can find the links to the other ornaments in this series, and for last year's series on the right sidebar of the blog. Enjoy! :)

Cute! I will definitely be making some. The girls at the shelter finished all the curtain rings and yarn I took them, making wreaths and Christmas stockings -- and I am told they are ready to learn something new. :) Best wishes to you, Tammy

Thank you so much for posting all of these wonderful ring ornament patterns. I made them into photo frame ornaments with pictures of great grandchildren for my grandparents. Each family had a different "theme ornament" and each child had a slight color variation so that everything was tied together (so one family was "peppermint candies" and each was a different color, and another family was "ball ornaments" and each had a different color, etc). LOVE THESE PATTERNS! I'm so excited to see that you posted 4 more last year--can't wait to make them! Thanks again!!
I looked at all of your ornaments and everyone of them are just absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to try them.
